The Cincy Photomob is a social photography experiment.
An idea from Cincinnati-based artist Matt Steffen, The Cincy Photomob was launched during the 2013 Cincy Fringe Fest. Taking a page from the flashmob playbook, participants are encouraged to congregate in predetermined locations and shoot photos in any given direction of anything they find interesting. The images, once uploaded, are then composited into one single panorama composed of dozens or even hundreds of YOUR photographs.
What will you see that no one else does? From a given vantage point, what do people find interesting and what is overlooked completely?
